The Berlin Zoo is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and is inviting its guests to delve deeper into the history of the zoo in a variety of ways. These include an open-air photo exhibition and an autograph session with artist Reiner Zieger, one of Germany's most famous animal illustrators.
The popular Whitsun concerts were also a must in this anniversary year and took place again on Whit Monday. The event was sponsored by the wvm Group Berlin. "Thanks to the support of the wvm Group Berlin, we were able to organize the Whitsun concerts in this form this year," says Katharina Naumann from Berlin Zoo. "We were delighted that many wvm employees were also there. This shows how lively and cooperative our partnership is."
