A neighborhood grows together
In Cologne-Merheim, where the Madaus site used to be, the next step in the development of the district is now taking shape: four new residential buildings with a total of 120 apartments – nestled in what has long since grown here.
The project at Ostmerheimer Straße 222–236 is more than just a new building: it is the final piece in a neighborhood that has taken shape bit by bit – with lots of green space, an open structure, and a clear focus on long-term quality of life.
Those who move here will not be entering a closed-off area, but a lively part of the city. Into established neighborhoods with good transport links, short distances, and the tranquility of an organically grown district.
Construction will begin in mid-2025 and be completed in early 2027.
What will be created by then is a place for tomorrow – quiet, well thought-out, and connected to what makes Cologne special.

location
Cologne-Merheim combines village charm with urban proximity. The historic town center with its half-timbered houses—above all the traditional inn "Em ahle Kohberg"—gives this district on the right bank of the Rhine a special character. Numerous green spaces and parks offer space for relaxation, while the Cologne-Merheim Clinic provides excellent medical care. Thanks to good public transport connections and proximity to the A4 motorway, Cologne city center can be reached quickly. A place to live for anyone who values peace, nature, and quality of life – without having to forego the advantages of the big city.
